Brian, a partner with the firm, practices exclusively in the matrimonial area of the law, and has effectively represented clients in the Appellate Division, Superior Courts of New Jersey and the Federal Court system. Brian is one of the few attorneys in New Jersey who has earned the title Certified Matrimonial Law Attorney, meaning that our State's highest court has recognized him as an expert on divorce and family law matters. In 2007 and 2008, after a selection process based upon peer voting and credentials research aimed at identifying the top 5% of all attorneys in the State of New Jersey, a blue ribbon panel named Brian a "Super Lawyer" for his outstanding work in the matrimonial field. Brian has substantial experience litigating all types of family law cases, including complex divorce actions, custody and parenting time trials, domestic violence hearings, and termination of parental rights cases. In addition, a significant portion of Brian's practice is dedicated to handling all types of divorce/family law appeals before New Jersey's Appellate courts. Brian receives many referrals for family law appellate work from other attorneys, which demonstrates their trust in his ability to handle the most difficult and complex legal issues. A member of the New Jersey bar since 1995, Brian received his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware, where he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for his superior skills in Legal Research and Writing. Brian earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Brian serves as a panelist in both the Mercer County and Burlington County Matrimonial Early Settlement Programs, a privilege reserved for the most experienced matrimonial attorneys in those counties.
