Heather Eshelman McCusker, an Associate with the firm, focuses her practice on Tax, Trust and Estate law. Heather works with clients to establish comprehensive estate plans, including the use of Last Wills & Testament, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, and various Trusts. She routinely assists clients in reducing the exposure of their assets to income, estate and gift taxes through the use of Wills, Trusts, and other estate planning techniques which operate to distribute wealth to intended beneficiaries. Heather also handles the administration of contested and uncontested estates. Prior to joining the firm, Heather served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Paulette Sapp-Peterson, Presiding Judge of the Civil Division, of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Mercer Vicinage. Throughout her clerkship, Heather was exposed to a wide range of civil litigation matters, involving personal injury, constitutional law violations, contract disputes, Megan's Law, and New Jersey Law Against Discrimination. At the same time, she also served as a Mediator in the Special Civil Part of the Law Division. Heather was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2004. She is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. She received her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 2004, where she was an Editor of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce. Heather graduated from Villanova University where she received her Bachelor's Degree, Cum Laude.
