The Princeton law firm of Ray J. Barson, Esq. merged with Szaferman Lakind in December 2001. Ray Barson joined the firm as a partner and co-manages the commercial and residential real estate department. Well-known in the Mercer County community, Ray has handled thousands of real estate transactions. He also represents clients in Municipal Court matters.

Prior to establishing is own law firm in 1981, Ray was a partner in the firm of Brotman, Felsenfeld & Barson in Trenton and was earlier associated with Jackson, Lewis, Schnitzler & Krupman in New York. He was a legal advisor at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Washington, D.C. and an associate in a litigation oriented practice with Karnig Boyajian, Esq. in Boston. Most recently, he completed ten years as Municipal Court Judge in West Windsor Township.
