SZAFERMAN LAKINDPRESS RELEASE SZAFERMAN LAKIND (March 18, 2008) Szaferman, Lakind, Blumstein, & Blader, P.C., a statewide law firm based in Mercer County, is pleased to announce that Janine G. Bauer, Esq. has returned to the firm as a partner in the Environmental Law Group. Janine focuses on environmental law, transportation, land use, and general litigation. Janine Bauer joins attorneys Mary Lou Delahanty, Arnold Lakind, Robert Gladstone, Robert Lytle, and R.Kevin McGrory in providing legal advice and representation to homeowners, businesses and government entities with environmental issues. Janine spent six years with Szaferman Lakind as an associate in the late 80's, after completing a clerkship for Justice Alan B. Handler of the NJ Supreme Court. After leaving the firm, she served as an assistant prosecutor in the Mercer County Prosecutor's office; then opened an office as a sole practitioner in New York, concentrating on environmental and transportation issues in the tri-state area. Janine is the former director of the Tri-State Transportation Campaign, a non-profit advisory group working to implement an economically efficient and environmentally friendly transportation network. She was on the board of directors of Trenton's open space advisory board, and she chaired the Trenton Roebling Community Development Corporation, which was responsible for the conversion of the Roebling Works factory into retail and office space. Janine received her Juris Doctor, with honors, from Rutgers University, and her B.A. from Syracuse University. She is a member of the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Florida Bars. She resides in South Orange with her husband, Alex Lloyd, and their two children. # |
