Environmental Law – For over thirty (30) years, Nathan has represented corporate clients facing compliance issues under the complex State and Federal statutory and regulatory rules and requirements, and business clients who find themselves under Orders and Directives from environmental regulatory agencies. In the leading New Jersey case, Nathan successfully obtained judgment dismissing, with prejudice, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's demand for Natural Resource Damages against our client, a gasoline station owner and operator.
Nathan regularly also is called upon by community and neighborhood associations and environmental groups to represent their interests in preserving open space, environmental quality, and sensible land use development in their towns and within the region where their members live, work, and enjoy recreation.
Employment Law – Nathan has comprehensive background and experience successfully representing clients concerning unlawful discrimination, severance negotiations and disputes, wrongful termination, contract disputes, and wage and hour matters. He is dedicated to achieving, for hisclients, a workplace environment that fully and fairly respects and compensates their abilities and contributions.
Students' Rights and Institutional Rights-Education Law – Nathan has over thirty (30) years experience representing students, employees, faculty members, and organizational members who have received improper treatment from the institution in which they are enrolled, or with which they are associated, and in protecting their Students' Rights and Institutional Rights.
Land Use Neighborhood and Community Opposition – Nathan has comprehensive experience in successfully representing neighbors, home owners, coalitions, and community organizations as objectors opposing development that threatens their families and community's character and value, and is committed to standing up for individuals and neighbors against improper development.
Equity and Chancery Practice – Nathan is broadly experienced in Equity practice, including the full range of injunction actions encompassing Temporary Restraining Orders, Preliminary Injunctions, and Permanent Injunctions, and in protecting his clients interests in obtaining Equitable relief and when injunctions wrongfully are sought against them.
Cell Tower Opposition – With extensive background in zoning and land use planning, and regarding the Federal Telecommunications Act, Nathan has successfully opposed zoning variances for proposed cell tower siting and construction in a community's residential neighborhoods, and in representation opposing cell tower zoning applications.
