Mercer County, NJ firm seeks a Paralegal in its Business Department to become a valued member of our team! The successful candidate will be a self-starter and able to work together with others. You will provide support to attorneys and have the autonomy to direct business transaction with client contact.

Responsibilities:

Collecting and organizing legal documents for attorney review, coordinating and maintaining transaction checklists, preparing legal documents under the supervision of attorneys in the practice group. You will have contact with clients and other parties involved in transactions, schedule conferences and manage correspondence. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining files and organizing documents in our physical and digital case management platforms as well as drafting of documents.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a legal assistant or paralegal with legal research ability is essential. The successful candidate will have experience in two or more of the following areas: business transactions, entity formation, commercial real estate, residential real estate, commercial finance, estate administration and preparation of basic estate planning documents. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are important. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications is required.
