Benjamin T. Branche, a partner and business lawyer with the firm, concentrates his practice on Tax, Trusts and Estates, Financing, Cannabis, Real Estate/Land Use, Aviation Law and Business Law. He has served as a trusted advisor to privately held companies, professionals, entrepreneurs, and individuals. Ben works with individual clients to establish Last Wills and Testaments, Revocable Living Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Family Entities, Living Wills, Powers of Attorney, and other complex estate planning documents. He also provides estate administration and estate planning counseling involving the implementation of strategies to transfer wealth, minimize taxes, and ensure that wealth is preserved and distributed appropriately.

Ben is a vital and dependable partner to his business clients, providing advice and consultation relating to commercial business transactions, commercial financing, international transactions, joint ventures, real estate/land use, commercial leasing, aircraft acquisition and leasing, mergers/acquisitions, choice of entity, and general business planning. As part of the Business group, Ben assists clients in structuring partnerships, financing relationships and tax strategies that assist in solar installation projects. At all times, Ben is looking for strategic and practical solutions to a client’s particular needs.

Ben was included on the list of New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Stars issued by Thomson Reuters in 2010, 2011 and 2012 . Prior to joining Szaferman Lakind, Ben was an associate with the law firms of Hill Wallack of Yardley, PA, and Gimmel, Weiman, Ersek & Blomberg, PC of Gaithersburg, MD. He was also associated with CTIS, Inc. of Rockville, MD providing legal counsel and support on government contracts. Ben is also currently an adjunct
professor with Mercer County Community College teaching on business and tax issues.

Ben is a member of the Bucks County and Mercer County Estate Planning Councils and the Estate Planning and Business Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He has given and attended numerous seminars on estate planning and probate, and in 2006 he completed an intensive Advanced Estate Planning Institute program at Emory Law School in Atlanta, Georgia. Ben was admitted to the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bars in 2008, the District of Columbia Bar in 2006, and the Maryland Bar in 2004. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in 2004, and his Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from the University of Scranton in 1999.
