Mr. Steinberg earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing Analytics and an Associate in Arts in Jewish Studies from Yeshiva University, graduating summa cum laude. He received his Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York, NY, where he graduated cum laude. While at Cardozo, he served as Senior Notes Editor of the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution and as Vice President of the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights.

Mr. Steinberg joined Szaferman Lakind in 2021 as an Attorney in the firm’s Business Department. His practice encompasses a broad range of transactional and advisory matters. He represents institutional and private lenders and borrowers in commercial loan transactions, including asset-based lending, acquisition financing, and real estate-secured lending. He regularly counsels clients on the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of secured credit facilities.

In addition to his finance practice, Mr. Steinberg advises clients in the purchase, sale, and leasing of commercial and residential real estate, handling all aspects of real estate transactions from contract negotiation through closing. He also works closely with individual and business clients on entity formation, business structuring, contract drafting, and general corporate governance matters.

Mr. Steinberg maintains an active estate planning practice, assisting individuals and families in developing comprehensive plans to manage and transfer wealth, including the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives.
